
You’ll be prompted to choose your photos or video clips (up to 50). To make a movie on your Google Photos app on your phone or tablet, tap Library and then Utilities.įrom here, you’ll select Movie and then Create movie. These templates may not be what you’re after. You can do it on a computer but the computer version only allows you to create a movie from one of the pre-set themes shown below. It’s a great way to put a collection of photos together. At the bottom, find options to create an Animation, Collage, or Movie.Ī movie is just one of the creations available on Google Photos.At the bottom of the Google Photos app, tap Library and then Utilities.Make Your Own Albums, Collages, Animations, and Movies You can also make your own creations such as an animation, collage, or movie. They will then appear with the rest of your photos in the Photo tab. To save creations from your Memories carousel, select “Save” at the bottom of the creation. I create a 10 minute video tutorial of the process. Students used the opacity slider in the first layer to reduce opacity and reveal the photo collage layer underneath. Step 3: Sketchbook X app: Adjust the opacity to reveal the blended self portrait For many students it was necessary to use the free transform tool to resize the photos to fill the screen. Layer one was used to shoot a selfie, and layer two was used to import the photo collage from the camera roll. In Sketchbook X, students created two layers. Step 2: Sketchbook X App: working with layers and free transform The students arranged them in a grid template, then saved to the iPad camera roll. The Pic Collage app allows students to add photos directly from the web without a Google image search.
